Where Can I Get A Criminal Background Check For A Security Licence In Alberta?

One of the requirements to obtain a security licence in Alberta is a criminal background check. Simply contact your local police department and provide information including your name and date of birth. In some cases fingerprints will be needed and sent to the RCMP to search on the National Repository Of Criminal Records.

According to Alberta Justice, all three searches are mandatory to obtain your security licence:

• Criminal record check
• Vulnerable sector search
• Local police database search
